What do you see?

What Do You See? was my first oil painting.

The work was born from a line in a song by the Argentine band Eruca Sativa: “El universo está hecho a medida del ojo del que mira” — “The universe is made to fit the eye of the one who looks.”

This idea became the starting point for the painting: the universe we perceive is never entirely separate from the way we look at it. What we see, what we choose to notice, and what we project onto the world all shape our own version of reality.

The eye becomes a window into something much larger — a universe that can be both external and deeply personal.
